![]() Eloy Fire District was formed on the19th day of August in 1946, prior to the City of Eloy being incorporated. Currently the Eloy Fire District serves over 10,300 residents in an area over 55 square miles, including Interstate 10 and 8, State Highways 84 & 87 and the Union Pacific Railway. EFD is a combination department with two fire stations, 29 full-time employees, 8 part-time employees. The Administrative Office is located at 4010 N. Toltec Road, across the street from the Toltec Fire Station (station 522). The Fire Chief, Secretary-Treasurer, Deputy Chief, Assistant Chief, Administrative Assistant, Fire Marshal and Accounting Clerk use this building.
Administrative Office Station 521 is located at 500 S. Sunshine Blvd. and is manned 24/7. The Station has two Class A pumpers (Engine 521 and 521B), one ladder truck (Ladder 521), one brush truck (Brush 521), one tender (Tender 521) and two ambulances (Medic 521 and Medic 521B).
Eloy Fire Station No. 521
Station 522 is located at 4015 N. Toltec Road and is manned 24/7. The Station has one Class A pumper (Engine 522), one ambulance (Medic 522), a brush truck (Brush 522) and a support vehicle (Support 522).
Toltec Fire Station No. 522 The Eloy Fire District is governing by an Elected Fire Chief and Secretary-Treasurer board. The Fire Chief is Gilbert Tarango and the Secretary-Treasurer is John McKee. FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES: Deputy Chief Coy L. Amerson is the chief administrator of the District. Assistant Chief is Kelly Weddle Division Chief Dan Lorenz is Chief of Operations and his office is at Station 521 Administrative Assistant/Human Resources is Juanita (Jannie) Key Accounting Clerk is Jeffrey Lannon Battalion Chiefs are Mike McKinney and Robert Maestas The Captains are: Station 521-Gene Klix, Terry Martinez and Nate Bailey Station 522-Dan McGuire, Joe Espinoza and Travis Hartman The Fire Marshal is Robert (Bob) Poindexter Full Time Engineers include: Jose Quiroz, Kris Middleton, Tym Larson, AJ Sauceda, Russell Middleton, Caleb Brady and Scott Roninger Full Time Firefighters include: Raul Lopez, Albert Baeza, Jeremy Leary, Chris Stephens, Trace Leggett, Tom Finucane, Todd Davis and Scott Miller Part Time Firefighters are Allen Bowman, Derrick Ethington, Ricardo Guillen, Armando Rascon, Julio Romero, and Tino Tarango |
