Call to order and confirmation of quorum.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>A meeting of the Board was called to order by Board Chairperson Belinda Akes at the Eloy Fire District Administration office, located at 4010 N. Toltec Road, Eloy, Arizona at 1803 hours on Monday, August 8, 2022. A quorum was confirmed with four members present: Edward Sauceda, Tom Cortez, Luis Ybarra, and Belinda Akes. Board member Luis Ybarra attended remotely.<\/li>\n
  2. Pledge of allegiance.\u00a0<\/strong>Board Chair Belinda Akes led the pledge of allegiance.<\/li>\n
  3. Call to the Public:\u00a0<\/strong>No members of the public addressed the board.<\/li>\n
  4. Special Ceremony:<\/strong>\u00a0 Pinning Ceremony.\n

    • A. Firefighter Ethan Hunt.\u00a0 Ethan Hunt successfully completed probation and received his Firefighter badge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

        • Fire Chief Kelly Weddle provided the Board Members with a recap of the financial activity to date for this fiscal year. The Board reviewed the Minutes, Financial Statements, and Warrant List. MOTION made by Edward Sauceda to approve the Consent Agenda Items A, B, and C. SECONDED by Tom Cortez. MOTION PASSED (4 Ayes: Akes, Ybarra, Sauceda, and Cortez; 0 Nays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
