REGULAR PUBLIC MEETING OF THE ELOY FIRE DISTRICT BOARD<\/p>\n

  1. Call to order and confirmation of quorum.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>A meeting of the Board was called to order by Board Chairperson Belinda Akes at the Eloy Fire District Administration office, located at 4010 N. Toltec Road, Eloy, Arizona at 1800 hours on Monday, November 14, 2022.\u00a0 A quorum was confirmed with three members present:\u00a0 Tom Cortez, Luis Ybarra, and Belinda Akes.\u00a0 Board members Tom Cortez and Luis Ybarra attended remotely.<\/li>\n
  2. Pledge of allegiance.\u00a0<\/strong>Board Chair Belinda Akes led the pledge of allegiance.<\/li>\n
  3. Call to the Public:\u00a0<\/strong>No members of the public addressed the board.<\/li>\n
  4. Consent Agenda:<\/strong>\n

      • A. Minutes of the regular district meeting on October 10, 2022.<\/li>\n
      • B. Financial Statements.<\/li>\n
      • C. Approval of Warrants.<\/li>\n
      • Fire Chief Kelly Weddle reviewed the receipts for October and provided a summary of the financial position of the District.\u00a0 The Board reviewed the Minutes, Financial Statements, and Warrant List.\u00a0 MOTION made by Tom Cortez to approve the Consent Agenda Items A, B, and C. \u00a0SECONDED by Luis Ybarra.\u00a0 MOTION PASSED (3 Ayes:\u00a0 Akes, Ybarra, and Cortez; 0 Nays).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

          • A. Review, discussion and possible action on raising the accounting capitalization value.\u00a0 The board discussed dollar amount thresholds for capitalization and depreciation.\u00a0 MOTION made by Luis Ybarra to raise the capitalization value to $10,000. SECONDED by Tom Cortez.\u00a0 MOTION PASSED (3 Ayes:\u00a0 Akes, Ybarra, and Cortez; 0 Nays).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
